Delta Wave Mindful Movement Meditation

The Delta Wave Mindful Movement Meditation in a combination of delta waves with a mindful movement meditation practice.

Delta waves help to boost your immune system, restore deep sleep, and known to help the body naturally heal.

Mindful Movement is a practice to help cultivate flexibility, energy, focus, and connection to the body in the present moment. Noticing body sensations, thoughts and feelings as participants move through gentle movements. In this practice we offer a number of simple office & chair friendly yoga movements that are coordinated with the breath. The movements start with sitting mountain pose, and move on to neck stretches, shoulder rolls, cat-cow poses, body twist, full body stretch (modified salutation), forward bend, hip stretches, leg extensions, ankle rolls, and ends with corpse pose.  Mindful movement can be done at a desk, in a chair, or standing, and connecting movement with breath, if accessible. Through the movement is the added benefit of exercise, which can help increase participants' energy level and be useful after long periods of sitting down.

Christopher Sanchez Lascurain

Hi, I'm Christopher Sanchez Lascurain, MSW, LCSW. I'm a somatic therapist trained in AEDP, and I work with empathic professionals who are stressed, anxious, or burned out and need more than just talk to feel better. We use grounding, breathwork, and body-based exercises alongside traditional talk therapy, because real change happens when the body and mind are both part of the work. My goal is simple: help you reconnect with your body, shift the patterns that aren't working anymore, and feel like yourself again.
