Your body already knows.
My Approach.
Life moves fast, and most of us learn to push through instead of actually feeling what's happening in our bodies. Stress doesn't just live in your thoughts, it shows up as tension in your shoulders, a tight chest, a mind that won't shut off at 11pm. Slowing down enough to notice that is the first step toward actually changing it.
I bring somatic work into our sessions alongside talk therapy because thinking your way out of stress only gets you so far. We work with what's happening in your nervous system, not just what's happening in your head. If you're ready for a different kind of support, book a session and let's start there. My Steps to Working with You.
01.
Build a real connection.
We start by just getting to know each other, no agenda, no pressure. I want to understand what your life actually looks like before we get into the work.
02.
Set goals that are actually yours.
Together we'll figure out what you want to change and why, not a generic treatment plan, something built around your life and your patterns.
03.
Track what's working.
We'll check in regularly on what's actually helping and adjust as we go. This isn't a fixed program, it shifts as you do.
04.
Bring the body into it.
This is where the somatic work comes in. We pay attention to what's happening in your body, not just your thoughts, because that's often where the real information is.
05.
Build communication that works for you.
We'll figure out how you actually want to be supported and how to ask for what you need, in session and outside of it.
