Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) Certification

I am excited to be certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP). Developed by Dr. Stephen Porges and based on the Polyvagal Theory, (SSP) is a five day auditory intervention designed to address a number of common symptoms experienced by children and adults. The SSP stimulates nervous system regulation and can help with difficulties such as anxiety, irritability, anger, social interaction and auditory sensitivity. The intervention uses prosodic vocal music that has been filtered to send signals of soothing safeness that train the middle ear to tune out signals of danger and instead take in more signals of safety.

Christopher Sanchez Lascurain

Hi, I'm Christopher Sanchez Lascurain, MSW, LCSW. I'm a somatic therapist trained in AEDP, and I work with empathic professionals who are stressed, anxious, or burned out and need more than just talk to feel better. We use grounding, breathwork, and body-based exercises alongside traditional talk therapy, because real change happens when the body and mind are both part of the work. My goal is simple: help you reconnect with your body, shift the patterns that aren't working anymore, and feel like yourself again.
